Born in 1914, Irene Roberson has lived during a time of amazing change and innovation in our world. The beginning and end of two World Wars, modern air travel, the great depression, man walking on the moon, the fall of the Berlin wall, and 17 different presidents. She has seen the inventions of things like the Band-Aid, traffic lights, frozen food, television, and penicillin. Just to name a few.
We were excited to be a part of celebrating the first 100 years of Irene’s life. The party was full of excitement and joy as family and friends told stories about how much Irene has meant to them. Guests then enjoyed delicious food and drinks which consisted of petite sandwiches, fruit, pimento cheese wafers, chilled spinach dip in a bread bowl, and refreshing strawberry lemonade. We are truly honored to have been able to play a part in this celebration, and we wish all the best to Irene and her family as they continue to cherish what a treasure she is. Congratulations on 100 years Irene, here’s to many more!
